Jets Assign Heinola and Suess to Moose

The Winnipeg Jets have assigned defenceman Ville Heinola and forward C.J. Suess to the Moose.

Heinola, 20, was drafted by the Jets in the first round, 20th overall in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. To date, the Finnish-born defender has recorded five points (1G, 4A) in 13 NHL contests. The blueliner has also amassed 12 points (4G, 8A) over the course of 22 American Hockey League games.

Suess, 27, was drafted by the Jets in the fifth round, 129th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.  The forward suited up in one game for the Jets dating back to the 2019-20 season. The American-born winger has 55 points (31G, 24A) in 120 career AHL games with the Moose. Suess was named the Julian Klymkiw Community Service Award winner by the Moose last season.
